IPVanish, Torguard and IVPN all have a zero-log policy. They do not log. This includes, but is not limited to, any traffic data, DNS data or meta data. Privacy is very important to them. IPvanish and Torguard both operate in the US in order to provide no logging service, as there is no mandatory data retention law in the US.

IVPN is a registered private company based in Gibraltar. In 2014 the company moved from Malta to Gibraltar in light of the new 2015 EU VAT regulations which affect all VPN service providers based in the EU. The new EU VAT regulations require companies to collect two pieces of non-conflicting evidence about the location of a customer; this would be at a minimum the customer’s physical address and IP address. This would affect the privacy of all customers.

IVPN offers Multihop technology. Multihop connections offer significantly higher levels of anonymity and privacy because your Internet traffic is routed through 2 or more VPN servers in different jurisdictions. Customers can switch between single and multihop connections at any time.

We created criteria to identify the best value VPN providers. IPVanish, Torguard and IVPN guarantee quality-of-service. They are the best value VPN services available. There are cheaper VPN services in the market, but the cheapest VPN service may not necessarily be the best one for you. This is something to keep in mind before you go shopping.
